We currently have 25 resident households, 40 summer homes and 4 fishing lodge/resorts; Eagle Manor Retreat, Quatsino Lodge, Hecate Cove Lodge and Kagoagh Lodge.

For ‘in town’ recreation there is the 1km long Colony Lake Trail which provides public access a secluded picnic area & swim beach, and beautiful Sherberg Island, accessible by foot at low tide and by paddle at high.

Local Societies & Committees include; Quatsino Cemetery Committee (est. 1918), Quatsino Residents’ Organization (est. 1973), Quatsino Advisory Planning Commission (est. 1974), Quatsino Archives Association (est. 1981), Quatsino Volunteer Fire Brigade (est. 1981), St. Olaf’s Restoration Group (est. 1985) and the Bergh Cove Organic Schoolyard (est. 2009).

Quatsino is within RDMW’s Area ‘C’ zone and is represented by Andrew Hory. Our Quatsino Official Community Plan Bylaw # 656 and Quatsino Zoning Bylaw # 670 provide information on buildings, setbacks, and development regulations. These Bylaws can be viewed at www.rdmw.bc.ca/quatsino
