| St. Olaf’s Anglican Church (formerly Quatsino School)- The oldest building still in use on Northern Vancouver Island, this Church (7) was built as a one-room school in 1898. Now a popular place for weddings and quiet meditation, St. Olaf’s guest book holds the names of visitors from around the world. | Quatsino Elementary School - Constructed in 1933 as a two room school (4), this historic building was, until September 2008,the place of learning for the children of the Sound. The School is awaiting a minimum 9 student enrolment to reopen. Tours can be arranged. | Colony Lake - Just a short walk down a forest trail (9) to a small swimming & picnic area will give you the opportunity to cool off and relax. A new trail to a new lake site is under construction and will be ready soon. |
